climate neutrality in 3 steps

Climate neutrality means that the co2 emissions of our hotel, including all overnight stays, are offset by climate protection projects. the stay of our guests becomes climate-neutral in three steps:

1. determination of co2 emissions

We record the relevant co2 emission sources of our hotel and the stay of our guests annually and derive measures to avoid and reduce emissions. when calculating the co2 footprint, the co2 emissions are recorded, for example caused by the catering, the arrival of the employees or the energy consumption. We also take our general business activities into account, such as administration or our business trips.

2. offsetting co2 emissions through a climate protection project

climate protection projects save co2 - for example through reforestation measures or the replacement of climate-damaging technologies with climate-friendly alternatives. by supporting one of these projects, we can offset the co2 emissions caused by our activities. all projects are regularly checked by independent organizations and are certified according to international standards, so that you can be sure that the measures have actually been implemented on site.
